Insurance companies created, and have been aggressively selling, a new product: the extended vehicle warranty. Like any other insurance item, the consumer cost is significantly more than the expected payout for claims. The purchaser should benefit with protection from very expensive, unpredictable repairs.
The reality, in all too many cases, is found in the fine print. Most of the contracts we have helped our customers with have been less than satisfying. Many have been just plain lousy. By far, the best plan we have dealt with is the one Madsen Motors has been offering its customers for over ten years. By special request, the Madsens will allow our customers to purchase a GE Warranty through them, even when the car is bought from another dealer or individual. We will go to bat for you, and get as much of the repair expense covered as possible. With the better plans, we are able to get most, but normally not all, of your claim reimbursed. We take extra time to prepare and present detailed estimates based on thorough diagnostics. When, on occasion, an adjuster has been sent to verify needed repairs, we have passed inspection with flying colors.

Are you having trouble getting that oil cap to turn? Just lift the edge firstwith a small screw driver or any thing handy!
If you use your parking brake, then USE it. Apply it normally, then put the car in drive and take off. If you get anywhere, then you haven't applied it firmly enough.
